Victim Assistance Program

The Huron County Victim Assistance Program was established to inform residents of Huron County their rights as victims, to provide quality supportive services and information to those who have been affected by the criminal acts of others. Our services include: court accompaniment, notification of criminal case status, information about the legal process, assistance in preparing to testify in court, information and assistance in filing an Ohio Victims of Crime Compensation Application, 24 hour rape crisis response, criminal/civil protection orders, accompaniment to parole board hearings and help with post release issues.
